Terms & Conditions
For the purpose of these terms & conditions the person booking the event shall be referred to as the promoter.
1. The Disc Jockey and his/her assistants will conduct themselves in a polite and proper manner, and respond to the promoters requests as to volume, situation of equipment and any other reasonable matter.
2. Sound2light disco shall retain the right to terminate the event if any act of abusive or anti social behaviour is directed towards the DJ or staff. The full fee will be payable
3. Sound2light disco will not be held responsible for low volume levels and or power losses due to noise control meters (db meters) installed at the venue.
4. The Promoter will ensure adequate access to the performance area and parking space nearby for the duration of the performance at no extra charge.
5. If the promoter cancels a booking the promoter shall pay to sound2light disco by way of liquidated damages, a sum equal to the advance payment or, if cancellation occurs within THIRTY days of the engagement, a sum equal to the full fee for the booking.
6. In the unlikely event of sound2light disco being unable to appear for any reason, the Discotheque reserves the right to fulfil its obligations by arranging for an alternative discotheque to appear in its place. But if this is not possible the company shall not incur any liability for its non-appearance.
7. The Promoter will allow sound2light disco sufficient time for his/her equipment to be set up, and at the completion of the performance, sufficient time to dismantle and remove the equipment from the venue. This time will vary according to venue and the size of the disco, but may well be an hour or more for larger shows and/or difficult access.
8. The Promoter will provide adequate supervision of all guests and/or customers and/or staff and/or any other persons at the venue and will be liable for any damage to, or theft of the discotheque equipment and/or recorded music caused by guests, customers, staff or other persons at the venue.
9. The Promoter warrants that he/she is entitled to use the venue for the purpose of the event and performance. The Promoter further warrants that he/she holds the Disc Jockey and his/her assistant indemnified such that they shall be in no way liable for any breach of covenants, regulations, by-laws and conditions under which any premises are leased, hired or entrusted to the Promoter.
10. Any Continuation of the services provided by sound2light disco, after the contracted hours, will be charged at £30 per half hour. Permission must be sought from the venue management and payment is required BEFORE any continuation
11. To secure the event, the booking forms, must be returned within 14 days of
receiving them
